Farhad Wadia

Kinjal Desai
Co-founder
Kinjal Desai and Farhad Wadia have been friends since grade school. Even though each established successful careers at various firms, they wanted to do more. In 2016, they founded ALOIS in a small room with just three employees. They chose the name ALOIS because it means warrior, and they had to fight to get the new company off the ground. With hard work and determination, their team grew to 25 in Vadodara and is now a thriving staffing firm with global reach and staff on five continents, and it continues to grow!
Farhad holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in commerce, as well as an MBA with a specialization in finance. Kinjal earned a bachelor’s degree in engineering (information technology), a master’s degree in finance, and an SMP Certificate from the prestigious IIM Ahmedabad, one of the world’s top business schools. They continue to be dedicated to operating a value-driven business that offers an exceptional employee experience while providing quality and excellence to clients.
Scott Shelander
President & CEO
Scott is an energetic leader who mobilizes the organization toward achieving ALOIS goals with a people-centered focus. He has held leadership positions in finance, technology, manufacturing, and healthcare. Scott was named among the top 100 staffing leaders to watch in 2023 by the World Staffing Awards. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Clarion University of Pennsylvania. Scott is passionate about coaching and leading others to achieve their personal and professional goals.
John Thomas

John is a results-oriented problem solver who enjoys taking on challenging situations. He has more than 20 years of career experience, including 16 years in account management and operational management within the staffing industry. John has a bachelor’s degree in engineering with a specialization in electronics and a post-graduate diploma in operations. John’s goals are to continue to help ALOIS achieve global brand recognition and to make a difference in people’s lives.
Betsey Carges
Senior Vice President
– Client Services
Betsey brings nearly two decades of healthcare staffing experience to ALOIS, where she is establishing a best-in-class healthcare client services team while bringing in new clients to provide job orders with great locations to offer clinicians. Betsey has a bachelor’s degree in education from Georgia Southern University and began her career as a teacher. She enjoys mentoring and coaching team members to capitalize on their strengths, solve problems, and use their unique skills to grow in their career while having a fulfilling personal life.
Jaclyn Neilly

Clinical Services
Jackie is working to expand the clinical knowledge of the ALOIS team and ensure the company is hiring the top care providers in the industry. During her seven years as a nurse, she received the prestigious Daisy Award in Nursing. Prior to becoming a nurse, Jackie worked in sales for more than a decade. In addition to her nursing degrees, she has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication with a minor in Spanish. She is a very open, honest, and results-driven leader.
